{"id":60178,"date":"2015-08-10T08:00:22","date_gmt":"2015-08-10T08:00:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=057d8f9ee19a76c9df328b26f23bc7da"},"modified":"2015-08-10T08:00:22","modified_gmt":"2015-08-10T08:00:22","slug":"news-story-new-simpler-process-for-postponement-of-charges","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=60178","title":{"rendered":"News story: New simpler process for postponement of charges"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>We have reviewed and simplified our procedures for registering the postponement of a charge.<\/p>\n<p>Before this, the practice was as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a simple postponement of one charge to another could be by letter<\/li>\n<li>a more complex postponement, for example, a postponement limited to a certain value, had to be by deed<\/li>\n<li>there were also different register entries for each type of postponement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The new practice is that we will accept a letter of postponement for any type of postponement.<br \/>\nWe have also changed the register entries. These will be identical whether the postponement is simple or complex.  <\/p>\n<p>For more information please see the updated <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/registration-of-legal-charges-and-deeds-of-variation-of-charge\">Registration of legal charges and deeds of variation of charge: Practice Guide 29<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The new practice applies to all applications processed on or after 10 August 2015.
