{"id":60189,"date":"2015-08-10T10:28:38","date_gmt":"2015-08-10T10:28:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=69de8c55e7a12beac17145d6683f6426"},"modified":"2015-08-10T10:28:38","modified_gmt":"2015-08-10T10:28:38","slug":"news-story-new-network-services-agreement-anticipated-to-save-50-million","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=60189","title":{"rendered":"News story: New Network Services agreement anticipated to save \u00a350 million"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>The Crown Commercial Service (<abbr title=\"Crown Commercial Service\">CCS<\/abbr>) today launches a new agreement for Network Services which is anticipated to save government \u00a350 million by making it simpler to access network and telecommunications services and by increasing competition in the market.<\/p>\n<p>Almost a third of the suppliers on the agreement are small or medium sized businesses, and more than a fifth of them have never worked with government before.<\/p>\n<p>Benefits of the agreement include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>delivery of increased savings by simplifying access and increasing competition<\/li>\n<li>a multiple lot and supplier structure which provides more flexibility and choice for customers<\/li>\n<li>access to greater range of good quality suppliers across the market<\/li>\n<li>encourages supplier innovation; describing outcomes, not technologies<\/li>\n<li>supports PSN and non-PSN services<\/li>\n<li>a range of ordering procedures to improve the buying process and reduce the cost of your procurement<\/li>\n<li>compliance with government\u2019s digital strategy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><abbr title=\"Crown Commercial Service\">CCS<\/abbr> developed the agreement by working closely with customers and suppliers to identify innovations and new solutions.
