{"id":60408,"date":"2015-08-17T09:49:00","date_gmt":"2015-08-17T09:49:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=51ce1c82b0a9b085d3c59d0d198c52ac"},"modified":"2015-08-17T09:49:00","modified_gmt":"2015-08-17T09:49:00","slug":"press-release-contraflow-for-a66-bassenthwaite-lake-safety-camera-and-rock-face-works","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=60408","title":{"rendered":"Press release: Contraflow for A66 Bassenthwaite Lake safety camera and rock face works"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>In a \u00a3160,000 project due to start on Tuesday 1 September, safety cameras along the route &#8211; where a 50 mph speed limit is in place \u2013 will be upgraded and routine maintenance undertaken to ensure drivers continue to be protected from rock falls will also be taking place.<\/p>\n<p>While the westbound carriageway is closed, drivers will be able to use a single lane of the eastbound carriageway as a contraflow system will be put in place.<\/p>\n<p>Highways England project manager Peter Gee said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>To help minimise disruption to road users we are carrying out 2 pieces of work at the same time.
