Before you leave the UK<\/p>\n

\u2022\tBritish citizens don\u2019t need a visa to travel to Sweden or Denmark, but your passport should be valid for the duration of your stay<\/p>\n

\u2022\tmake sure the next of kin details are kept up to date in your passport, and remember to keep your passport safe at all times<\/p>\n

\u2022\tremember to get your free European Health Insurance Card EHIC<\/a> before leaving the UK. The EHIC isn\u2019t a substitute for medical and travel insurance, but it will enable you to access public healthcare provided in Sweden or Denmark at a reduced cost, or sometimes for free; it will cover you for treatment until you return to the UK<\/p>\n

\u2022\tbefore you leave the UK, take out comprehensive travel insurance<\/p>\n

Getting to the stadium<\/a><\/p>\n

Walking: Swedbank Stadium is located in central Malm\u00f6. It takes about 45 minutes to walk from Malm\u00f6 Central Station to the stadium.<\/p>\n

By public transport: From Malm\u00f6 Central Station, take bus number 3 which stops at Swedbank stadion. For more routes, check the Sk\u00e5netrafikens website<\/a><\/p>\n

By taxi: Taxis can be expensive. Always ask for the price before you get in the taxi.<\/p>\n

At the match<\/p>\n

\u2022\tthe stadium gates open 90 minutes before kick-off<\/p>\n

\u2022\titems banned in stadiums in the UK are likely to be banned at the Swedbank stadium as well<\/p>\n

\u2022\tsections 17 and 18 are dedicated to Celtic fans \u2013 entrance from gate E<\/p>\n

If something goes wrong<\/p>\n

The emergency number for police, ambulance and fire services is 112<\/p>\n

As in any other cities, beware of pickpockets and bag snatchers in public areas – only carry what you need and leave spare cash and valuables in the hotel safety deposit box.<\/p>\n

Pickpockets & organised thieves are known to operate on the train between Copenhagen & Malmo. Take extra precaution with luggage and bags stored in the overhead compartment, where bags are regularly taken while the unsuspecting owner sits unaware.<\/p>\n

If your passport is lost or stolen, you should contact the Consular Section of the British Embassy in Copenhagen, Denmark<\/a> or at the British Embassy in Stockholm, Sweden<\/a> as soon as possible. <\/p>\n

You may need to apply for an emergency travel document (ETD). The fee for an ETD is \u00a395 payable by local currency or Visa\/MasterCard Credit Cards. You will need to submit one passport photo in colour and a paper copy of your flight details to apply. <\/p>\n
