Sir Kim Darroch KCMG has been appointed Her Majesty\u2019s Ambassador to the United States of America in succession to Sir Peter Westmacott KCMG LVO, who will be retiring from the Diplomatic Service. Sir Kim will take up his appointment during January 2016.<\/p>\n
