{"id":60925,"date":"2015-09-02T14:37:12","date_gmt":"2015-09-02T14:37:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=c65a2244441ccc9569406b49ca5a30d0"},"modified":"2015-09-02T14:37:12","modified_gmt":"2015-09-02T14:37:12","slug":"news-story-crime-news-practitioners-needed-for-defence-portal-development","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=60925","title":{"rendered":"News story: Crime news: practitioners needed for defence portal development"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>More defence practitioners are needed to help inform and shape the development of an online portal which will allow the defence to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>access essential criminal case information<\/li>\n<li>interact with the prosecution and courts<\/li>\n<li>download initial disclosure of the prosecution case (IDPC) <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are interested and would like to be involved a contact email address is provided below.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"what-is-the-defence-portal\">What is the defence portal?<\/h3>\n<p>The defence portal will be the defence practitioners\u2019 route into a unified digital criminal case management system known as the \u2018Common Platform\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>This Criminal Justice System Common Platform Programme\u2019 (CJSCPP) is a joint initiative between Her Majesty\u2019s Courts and Tribunals Service (HMCTS) and the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"shift-from-paper-to-digital-processes\">Shift from paper to digital processes<\/h3>\n<p>Access to the \u2018Common Platform\u2019 means that everyone working on a case will be able to use digital processes instead of paper to share information collaboratively.
