{"id":61099,"date":"2015-09-07T09:51:00","date_gmt":"2015-09-07T09:51:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=232fa3a89ae3465e74f11fdfd13349a8"},"modified":"2015-09-07T09:51:00","modified_gmt":"2015-09-07T09:51:00","slug":"news-story-remember-a-charity-in-you-will-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=61099","title":{"rendered":"News story: Remember a Charity in your Will Week"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>Today (7 September) marks the start of Remember a Charity in your Will week &#8211; encouraging people to consider leaving a charitable gift in their Will, once they\u2019ve looked after their family and friends.<\/p>\n<p>The week is led by <a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.rememberacharity.org.uk\/\">Remember A Charity<\/a> who work in collaboration with 140 member charities, the Government and partners, to do what no single charity can do alone \u2013 making gifts in Wills the social norm.<\/p>\n<p>Research shows that 35% of people wanted to leave money to a charity in their Will, but only 7.3% do. This week will take steps towards helping those who have the intention of leaving a charitable gift in their Will, but aren\u2019t quite sure how.<\/p>\n<p>Minister for Culture, Ed Vaizey said: <\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"last-child\">Legacy giving is fundamental to the future of the cultural sector.
