The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of the above date but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.<\/p>\n

Bristol<\/h2>\n

M5 junction 19: maintenance<\/h2>\n

Full southbound exit slip closure will take place from 8pm 3 September until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M4 between junction 19 \u2013 20: bridge repairs<\/h2>\n

Narrow lanes will be in place during the day with single lane running nightly from 9pm 2 September until 20 October.<\/p>\n

M4 between junction 20 -19: maintenance works<\/h2>\n

Full carriageway closure including the M5 southbound to M4 eastbound link, M5 northbound to M4 eastbound link and M5 southbound link to M4 westbound link from 9pm 7 September until 6am the following morning. Diversions will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M48 Severn Bridge: bridge maintenance<\/h2>\n

Full eastbound closure will take place from 24\/7 from 8pm 11 September until 6am 14 September. Diversions will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

Gloucestershire<\/h2>\n

M5 junction 10: bridge repairs<\/h2>\n

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place on the southbound and northbound carriageway until October 2015.<\/p>\n

M5 junction 11A: resurfacing<\/h2>\n

Full southbound exit slip will be closed nightly from 8pm 8 September until 6am 11 September. Diversions will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A40 Huntley to Lea: grass cutting<\/h2>\n

Full carriageway closure will take place from 8pm 10 September until 6am the following morning. Diversions will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

Wiltshire<\/h2>\n

A36 Codford to Deptford: signage and resurfacing works<\/h2>\n

Full closures will take place nightly from 8pm 1 September until 6am 4 September. Diversions will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A36 Beckington to Chapmanslade: resurfacing<\/h2>\n

Full closures will take place nightly from 8pm 1 September until 6am 5 September. Diversions will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

North Somerset<\/h2>\n

M5 junction 22: third party works<\/h2>\n

Full closures of the exit and entry slips northbound and southbound will take place nightly from 8pm 10 September until 6am 12 September. Diversions will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

Somerset<\/h2>\n

BANES<\/h2>\n

No planned works<\/p>\n

West Dorset<\/h2>\n

Devon (M5 only)<\/h2>\n

M5 junction 28: improvements scheme<\/h2>\n

Various closures on the southbound slip roads until mid September 2015.<\/p>\n
