{"id":61551,"date":"2015-09-16T08:46:46","date_gmt":"2015-09-16T08:46:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=c1f3cf3a6b5047019648852bb4254de6"},"modified":"2015-09-16T08:46:46","modified_gmt":"2015-09-16T08:46:46","slug":"news-story-regional-national-apprenticeship-awards-2015-finalists-announced","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=61551","title":{"rendered":"News story: Regional National Apprenticeship Awards 2015 finalists announced"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>This year\u2019s National Apprenticeship Awards will see almost 200 companies and individuals competing for the prestigious accolades.<\/p>\n<p>The 2015 awards, now in their twelfth year, recognise excellence in businesses that grow their own apprentice talent and apprentices who have made a significant contribution to their workplace. <\/p>\n<p>The 200 regional finalists fought off competition from over 1000 other entries made to the National Apprenticeship Service, which runs the Awards. <\/p>\n<p>Eleven regional ceremonies will take place across the country in October, and each ceremony will celebrate winners and highly commended entries in 10 categories, which include. <\/p>\n<h3 id=\"employer-categories\">Employer categories<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Small Employer of the Year<\/li>\n<li>Medium Employer of the Year<\/li>\n<li>The BAE Systems Award for Large Employer of the Year<\/li>\n<li>The BT Award for Macro Employer of the Year<\/li>\n<li>The EDF Energy Award for Newcomer SME of the Year<\/li>\n<li>The Rolls-Royce Award for Newcomer Large Employer of the Year<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 id=\"apprentice-categories\">Apprentice categories<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The McDonald\u2019s Award for the Intermediate Apprentice of the Year <\/li>\n<li>The EAL Award for the Advanced Apprentice of the Year <\/li>\n<li>The Nuclear Decommissioning Site Licence Companies Award for the Higher Apprentice of the Year<\/li>\n<li>The City &amp; Guilds Award for the Apprenticeship Champion of the Year<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>After the regional ceremonies, the winners will progress to the next stage of the competition, where their applications will be assessed by a national judging panel.
