{"id":63671,"date":"2015-11-03T12:31:01","date_gmt":"2015-11-03T12:31:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=fcd589630fbdaf99f0842b21d6389a94"},"modified":"2015-11-03T12:31:01","modified_gmt":"2015-11-03T12:31:01","slug":"news-story-smart-ticketing-rollout-brings-better-journeys-to-north-east","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=63671","title":{"rendered":"News story: Smart ticketing rollout brings better journeys to north east"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>A new smart card that will provide easier, cheaper journeys to passengers in the north east was launched (2 November 2015) by Transport Minister Andrew Jones.<\/p>\n<p>The Pop Pay As You Go card is the first of its kind outside London offering a daily price cap and will allow seamless travel across local bus services and the Tyne and Wear Metro.<\/p>\n<p>Transport Minister Andrew Jones said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The Pop Pay as you go card is a great initiative that will ensure passengers across the north east can enjoy seamless journeys and save money on their local bus and Metro services.<\/p>\n<p>The government is fully committed to improving the ticketing experience for all passengers.
