{"id":63706,"date":"2015-11-04T14:06:24","date_gmt":"2015-11-04T14:06:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=114c99f47628fc45c794cfc8261911d4"},"modified":"2015-11-04T14:06:24","modified_gmt":"2015-11-04T14:06:24","slug":"press-release-ae-waiting-times-in-gloucestershire-set-to-improve","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=63706","title":{"rendered":"Press release: A&amp;E waiting times in Gloucestershire set to improve"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>The health sector regulator agreed a number of improvements with the trust, and will continue to support its efforts to cut patient waiting times in <abbr title=\"accident and emergency\">A&amp;E<\/abbr>.<\/p>\n<p>The trust will appoint an Improvement Director, who will be able to provide expertise to help it make improvements in <abbr title=\"accident and emergency\">A&amp;E<\/abbr>. It will also implement an improvement plan, which was prepared with the support of independent urgent care experts. <\/p>\n<p>The trust, which provides acute and specialist care at hospitals in Gloucester and Cheltenham, was investigated because too many patients were waiting too long to be seen in its <abbr title=\"accident and emergency\">A&amp;E<\/abbr>. <\/p>\n<p>Paul Streat, Regional Director at Monitor, said: <\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>We have worked with Gloucestershire Hospitals and local healthcare organisations to identify how patient waiting times in <abbr title=\"accident and emergency\">A&amp;E<\/abbr> can be reduced.
