The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 20 November 2015 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.<\/p>\n

A38 \u2013 Swinfen to Toyota Island\/Swinfen to Weeford, West Midlands: drainage surveys<\/h2>\n

The slip roads will be closed in both directions overnight between 9pm and 6am from 23 November until 29 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A5 Churchbridge to Washbrook Lane, West Midlands: footway widening<\/h2>\n

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 23 November until 29 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A50 \u2013 A520 junction\/Meir entry slip, West Midlands: carriageway works<\/h2>\n

The eastbound entry slip will be closed overnight for two nights between 10pm and 6am from 23 November until 25 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A50 Meir Island and all slip roads, West Midlands: emergency street lighting repairs<\/h2>\n

The eastbound and westbound entry and exit slips will be closed overnight between 8pm and 5am from 23 November until 27 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A50 \u2013 eastbound entry slip from Longton junction (A5035), West Midlands: electrical works<\/h2>\n

The eastbound entry slip will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm 25 November until 6am the following morning (26 November). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A500 \u2013 junction with A5006 northbound exit slip, West Midlands: emergency repairs<\/h2>\n

The northbound exit slip will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm 26 November until 6am the following morning (27 November). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M42 junction 7 to junction 8, West Midlands: installation of traffic sensors<\/h2>\n

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm 23 November until 6am the following morning (24 November). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M42 junction 5 exit slip, West Midlands: safety fence repairs<\/h2>\n

The southbound exit slip will be closed overnight for two nights between 8pm and 6am from 23 November until 25 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M42 junction 5 entry slip, West Midlands: signal repairs<\/h2>\n

The southbound entry slip will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm 23 November until 5am the following morning (24 November). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M42 junction 5 to junction 6, West Midlands: electrical works<\/h2>\n

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm 27 November until 5am the following morning (28 November). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M5 junction 1 Northbound to M6 Junction 8, West Midlands: bridge inspections<\/h2>\n

The northbound link to M6 will be closed overnight for two nights between 10pm and 4.30am from 24 November until 26 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M6 junction 9 entry slip\/Western Arm South, West Midlands: re-waterproofing and structural repairs<\/h2>\n

There will be a full 24hour southbound entry slip closure from 14 September on-going until December. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M6 junction 8 to junction 7, West Midlands: bridge inspection<\/h2>\n

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight for two nights between 10pm and 4.30am from 23 November until 25 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M6 junction 11 entry slip, West Midlands: gantry works<\/h2>\n

The northbound entry slip will be closed overnight for two nights between 10pm and 6am from 23 November until 25 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M6 junction 12 exit slip, West Midlands: gantry works<\/h2>\n

The northbound exit slip will be closed overnight for two nights between 10pm and 6am from 23 November until 25 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M6 junction 6 exit slip, West Midlands: emergency fence repairs<\/h2>\n

The southbound exit slip will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm 24 November until 6am the following morning (25 November). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M6 junction 4A to junction 3A and M42 junction 7A northbound to M6 southbound link and junction 4A entry slip, West Midlands: bridge repairs<\/h2>\n

The M6 southbound J4A to J3A including full closure of M42 J7A northbound link to M6 southbound and M6 J4 southbound entry slip will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm 28 November until 6am the following morning (29 November). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M69 junction 1 to M6 junction 2, West Midlands: carriageway resurfacing<\/h2>\n

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 9pm and 6am from 23 November until 29 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n
