{"id":65012,"date":"2015-12-04T14:30:10","date_gmt":"2015-12-04T14:30:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=46108d45b96a5b747af0f7c280ede3a2"},"modified":"2015-12-04T14:30:10","modified_gmt":"2015-12-04T14:30:10","slug":"news-story-cma-to-consult-on-car-auction-undertakings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=65012","title":{"rendered":"News story: CMA to consult on car auction undertakings"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>On 1 December, the Competition and Markets Authority (<abbr title=\"Competition and Markets Authority\">CMA<\/abbr>) announced it would consider in detail <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/news\/cma-looks-in-detail-at-car-auction-merger-undertakings\">an undertaking proposed by BCA Marketplace<\/a> instead of referring the case for an in-depth merger investigation.<\/p>\n<p>BCA Marketplace has now offered to sell an auction site in Newcastle to a suitable buyer able to remedy the competition concerns identified by the <abbr title=\"Competition and Markets Authority\">CMA<\/abbr>. <\/p>\n<p>The <abbr title=\"Competition and Markets Authority\">CMA<\/abbr> currently considers the proposed undertakings to be appropriate to remedy its competition concerns. <\/p>\n<p>Before reaching a final decision, it is inviting interested parties to make their views known.
