{"id":65248,"date":"2015-12-09T17:08:33","date_gmt":"2015-12-09T17:08:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=ae52a692331e8c584a56cd2c2d9d59b4"},"modified":"2015-12-09T17:08:33","modified_gmt":"2015-12-09T17:08:33","slug":"news-story-new-funding-for-flood-affected-businesses","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=65248","title":{"rendered":"News story: New funding for flood-affected businesses"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>Today the Chancellor announced <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/news\/51-million-more-for-homes-and-businesses-affected-by-floods\">additional funding<\/a> to support those affected by last weekend\u2019s floods in Cumbria and Lancashire.<\/p>\n<p>As part of that, <abbr title=\"Department for Business, Innovation and Skills\">BIS<\/abbr> has committed \u00a35 million for businesses, with funding equivalent to \u00a32,500 per business provided to local authorities. It\u2019s estimated that 2,000 firms may have been impacted by the floods.<\/p>\n<p>Minister for Small Business Anna Soubry said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"last-child\">We are providing \u00a35 million of quick support for businesses forced to close their doors due to the floods.
