Avoid postal delays and file your accounts online<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Request an authentication code<\/a>, if you haven\u2019t already got one. It\u2019s sent by post to the company\u2019s registered office and can take up to 5 days to arrive.<\/p>\n

File early and file online<\/h3>\n

File online before the New Year\u2019s Eve deadline and we\u2019ll send you an email confirming your accounts have been received. We\u2019ll send you another email when they\u2019ve been registered.<\/p>\n

It can take as little as 15 minutes from start to finish and you\u2019ll know your accounts have been delivered on time.<\/p>\n

Avoid rejections<\/h3>\n

Our online filing service has inbuilt checks to help you avoid rejection.<\/p>\n

Accounts filed on paper need to be manually checked. We can only check them during office opening hours<\/a>, and can take over a week to be processed during busy filing periods.<\/p>\n

Check how long we\u2019re taking to process paper documents<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

If you have to file paper accounts, you may want to use a guaranteed next day delivery service. Delivery could take longer than usual, due to the high volumes of post during the holiday period.<\/p>\n

Send your accounts well before the New Year\u2019s Eve deadline, in case you need time to resubmit them. If your accounts are rejected and need to be resubmitted, you could be too late to avoid a penalty.<\/p>\n

Postal delays won\u2019t be accepted as an excuse for late filing.<\/p>\n

Availability of online services<\/h3>\n

Our online services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Check your company is registered for online filing and you\u2019re able to file your accounts using this service.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll receive a penalty if resubmitted accounts are received after the deadline. File them early and allow time for this.<\/p>\n

Filing accounts at our offices<\/h3>\n

Only our Cardiff office is manned and can receive documents during the holiday period. London and Edinburgh have a letterbox for out of hours deliveries. Our Belfast office can only accept documents within office hours.<\/p>\n
