A1 junction 56 Barton to junction 51 Leeming Bar<\/h2>\n

There will be narrow lanes and a 50mph speed restriction in place 24 hours a day over the Christmas period, until Monday 4 January 2016. The project is due to be completed by spring 2017.<\/p>\n

A1 Lamesley to Swalwell, Gateshead<\/h2>\n

There will be narrow lanes and a 40mph and 30mph speed restriction in place 24 hours a day over the Christmas period, until Monday 4 January 2016. The project is due to be completed by spring 2016.<\/p>\n

A1 Morpeth, Northumberland<\/h2>\n

There will be narrow lanes and a 40mph speed restriction in place 24 hours a day over the Christmas period, until Monday 4 January 2016. The project is due to be completed by the end of 2016.<\/p>\n

A1 Brownieside, Northumberland<\/h2>\n

There will be a lane closure north and southbound for investigation work. This will take place Monday 21 and Tuesday 22 December, between 8.30am and 4pm.<\/p>\n

A66 Bowes to Cross Lanes, County Durham<\/h2>\n

There will be a 24 hour contraflow in operation for resurfacing work. The westbound carriageway will be closed with all traffic travelling on the eastbound carriageway. This will take place until 22 December.<\/p>\n
