The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of the above date but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.<\/p>\n

Bristol<\/h2>\n

M32 junction 1 to 2: Metro Bus scheme (Bristol City Council works)<\/h3>\n

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in operation northbound and southbound until the end of September 2016.<\/p>\n

M5 junction 18 to 17 (Hallen Hill): drainage and carriageway repairs<\/h3>\n

Various 24\/7 lane closures on northbound carriageway only will commence from 17th January until mid-March 2016.<\/p>\n

M5 junction 20 to 19 (Tickenham Hill): drainage and carriageway repairs<\/h3>\n

24\/7 lane closures on northbound carriageway only will be in operation during the day with additional lane closures overnight between 14th January until 26th January.<\/p>\n

Full overnight closures will be in operation from 9pm on 28 January (Monday to Friday only) until 6am on 10 February. Diversion will be clearly signposted. Narrow lanes with 50 mph restrictions will be in operation during the day. <\/p>\n

M5 junction 16: resurfacing<\/h3>\n

Southbound entry slip will be closed from 10pm on 29 January until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

Gloucestershire<\/h2>\n

M5 junction 13 to 15: drainage works<\/h3>\n

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place on the southbound and northbound carriageway until March 2016.<\/p>\n

M5 junction 14 to 12: bridge maintenance<\/h3>\n

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place on the southbound and northbound carriageway until October 2016.<\/p>\n

M5 junction 12: resurfacing<\/h3>\n

The northbound entry slip will be closed from 8pm on 25 January until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A40 Huntley: traffic signal renewals<\/h3>\n

24 hour multiway lights will be in operation from 6am on 23 November until 6pm on13 February 2016.<\/p>\n

Wiltshire<\/h2>\n

M4 junction 16 to 17: embankment works<\/h3>\n

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place on the westbound carriageway from 24 January until early March. <\/p>\n

A36 Crockerton roundabout to Deptford Interchange: resurfacing<\/h3>\n

There will be a full carriageway closure nightly from 8pm on 28 January until 6am on 30 January. Diversion will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A303 Fonthill Bishop: resurfacing<\/h3>\n

Full westbound carriageway closure including entry slip roads will take place nightly from 8pm on 26 January until 6am 28 January. Diversion will be clearly signposted. <\/p>\n

North Somerset<\/h2>\n

No planned works<\/p>\n

Somerset<\/h2>\n

M5 junction 26: resurfacing<\/h3>\n

Northbound entry slip road will be closed from 8pm on 25 January until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M5 junction 23: surveys<\/h3>\n

Northbound exit slip road will be closed from 8pm on 29 January until 6am the following morning. Diversion will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

BANES<\/h2>\n

A46 Batheaston bypass: structures<\/h3>\n

Northbound entry slip road will be closed nightly from 8pm on 11 January until 6am on 30 January. Diversion will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

Southbound exit slip road will be closed from 8pm on 28 January until 6am on 29 January. Diversion will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A4 Box roundabout: utility works<\/h3>\n

24\/7 lane closures will be in place until 29 January. <\/p>\n

West Dorset<\/h2>\n

No planned works.<\/p>\n

Devon (M5 only)<\/h2>\n

No planned works<\/p>\n

Hampshire<\/h2>\n

No planned works<\/p>\n
