{"id":67391,"date":"2016-02-08T15:49:02","date_gmt":"2016-02-08T15:49:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=654cff6e62c6121a20216e70f83b18e2"},"modified":"2016-02-08T15:49:02","modified_gmt":"2016-02-08T15:49:02","slug":"press-release-north-korea-ambassador-summoned-over-missile-technology-launch","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=67391","title":{"rendered":"Press release: North Korea Ambassador summoned over missile technology launch"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>Asia Minister Hugo Swire today summoned the Democratic People\u2019s Republic of Korea\u2019s (DPRK) Ambassador in London, Mr Hyon Hak Bong, to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office following a launch using ballistic missile technology on 7 February.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Swire made clear the test was a deliberate violation of a number of UN Security Council Resolutions. <\/p>\n<p>Following the meeting, Asia Minister Hugo Swire said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"last-child\">I summoned North Korea\u2019s Ambassador today to make clear in the strongest terms the UK\u2019s condemnation of the launch this weekend. North Korea\u2019s actions continue to present a threat to regional and international security.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"last-child\">I fully support the UN Security Council\u2019s strong condemnation of this launch.
