{"id":67528,"date":"2016-02-11T13:45:02","date_gmt":"2016-02-11T13:45:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=a162c7600d4974de16c26bbf19043bdd"},"modified":"2016-02-11T13:45:02","modified_gmt":"2016-02-11T13:45:02","slug":"press-release-digital-heavyweights-to-advise-government","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=67528","title":{"rendered":"Press release: Digital heavyweights to advise government"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>Matt Hancock today announced that government has brought together some of the world\u2019s biggest names in digital to advise on delivering world beating digital public services. <\/p>\n<p>The new GDS advisory board is made up of UK experts from retail, digital, data and technology sectors, all of which have experience in delivering digital products and services used by millions of people.<\/p>\n<p>The group includes the founder and CEO of LoveFilm Saul Klein; the ASOS Chairman Brian McBride; Hermann Hauser who is known for setting up Acorn Computers and its spin-out ARM Holdings and the co-founder of lastminute.com Baroness Lane Fox. <\/p>\n<p>The group \u2013 which will meet on a quarterly basis \u2013 will support, advise and challenge the government to deliver better services for users and evaluate how emerging digital and technology trends can be applied to public services.<\/p>\n<p>This announcement was made at the government\u2019s annual digital conference, Sprint.
