{"id":67723,"date":"2016-02-18T10:09:00","date_gmt":"2016-02-18T10:09:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=c913cdbcf76fbf6a329f5d09875c6392"},"modified":"2016-04-05T08:21:10","modified_gmt":"2016-04-05T08:21:10","slug":"news-story-technology-products-update-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=67723","title":{"rendered":"News story: Technology Products update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Updated:<\/em> Added information about more feedback sessions on 13 April for buyers and suppliers.<\/p>\n<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>We held a series of supplier and buyer engagement events recently, in partnership with techUK, to look at how we should structure the new Technology Products agreement to meet the needs of both buyers and suppliers.<\/p>\n<p>83 different supplier organisations came along including resellers, software vendors and hardware manufacturers, many of which are small businesses. Feedback was positive:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cfun and informative\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cgreat innovation\u201d<\/p>\n<p>We took a collaborative approach to the workshops as we\u2019re keen to work with suppliers and buyers to understand what they like and don\u2019t like about the existing agreement and develop innovative ideas for the new agreement.<\/p>\n<p>The new Technology Products agreement needs to be easy to use and accessible for both buyers and potential suppliers. With this in mind, the workshops focused on the structure of the agreement, the evaluation process,  terms and conditions and the use of catalogues to ensure we make it as easy as possible for small businesses to get involved. <\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re grateful to everyone who came along to share their ideas and look forward to continued participation from buyers and suppliers in helping us shape the agreement. <\/p>\n<p>We have now published the <a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/ted.europa.eu\/udl?uri=TED:NOTICE:52739-2016:TEXT:EN:HTML&amp;src=0\">Prior Information Notice<\/a> for this procurement and have shared the <a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/ccs-agreements.cabinetoffice.gov.uk\/node\/6377\">outputs from these sessions on our website<\/a> so if you were unable to attend a session it isn\u2019t too late to get involved. <\/p>\n<p>We are also hosting 2 sessions on 13 April for both buyers and suppliers to share the outcomes of the engagement and next steps.
