It\u2019s National Apprenticeship Week<\/a> and the Civil Service Fast Track Apprenticeship programme is open for applications<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll be releasing the first three of our series of \u2018Five Doors\u2019 videos to give you an idea of the exciting opportunities and work-life balance that a career in the Civil Service can offer to school leavers across the country (although the programme has no upper age limit). There\u2019ll be a video for each of our five schemes: Business<\/a>, Finance<\/a>, Commercial<\/a>, Project Delivery<\/a> and Digital and Technology<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll be at a number of high-profile job shows this week, including the National Apprenticeship Show<\/a> and the Bristol higher education exhibition<\/a> on 14 and 15 March \u2013 feel free to drop by and learn more about the Fast Track and the chances to earn, learn and succeed that it offers you.<\/p>\n

This week a number of our apprentices will be battling it out in the Great Apprentice Takeover<\/a> \u2013
\n an exciting competition which is promoting the Fast Track through a series of three challenges. Keep It Street has the apprentices designing groovy Fast Track hoodies, Keep It Local has them arranging high-profile local recruitment events and Keep It Social has them creating diverse and engaging social media content about our apprenticeship programme. We\u2019ll be keeping you updated on the teams\u2019 activity via our Facebook<\/a> and Twitter<\/a> pages. <\/p>\n

We\u2019re also launching the A-pprentice Pets Challenge \u2013 apprentices will be sending in pictures of their furry friends and we\u2019ll be posting them on Facebook. We\u2019ll be announcing the winner (the pet with the most likes) on Thursday.<\/p>\n
