Inzpire Ltd received funding through the Centre for Defence Enterprise (CDE<\/abbr>) to develop the concept of \u2018GHOST<\/abbr>\u2019 – Graphically Hosted Objective Solution for Training. GHOST<\/abbr> is an artificial representation of any individual, which interacts with other GHOSTs, live players, and both live and synthetic training environments.<\/p>\n

An GHOST<\/abbr> actively demonstrates the individual\u2019s expected performance, because it contains all of their experiences, skills and how current these are, plus it \u2018knows\u2019 the correct doctrine. It also records the actual live performance of the individual. <\/p>\n

In both real time and after an event, GHOST<\/abbr> contrasts what an individual is doing against what\u2019s defined as \u2018good\u2019, immediately helping those delivering training, and improving the individual\u2019s learning after the event. Aggregating GHOSTs across a military force could provide objective evidence for when to intervene with further training or help with other decision making. <\/p>\n

Inzpire has tested the concept in a commercial-off-the-shelf synthetic training environment and will soon demonstrate the capability to stakeholders. <\/p>\n
