{"id":70256,"date":"2016-05-06T12:30:24","date_gmt":"2016-05-06T12:30:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=8eadb5b7693fc2de338fc6f526c8d347"},"modified":"2016-05-06T12:30:24","modified_gmt":"2016-05-06T12:30:24","slug":"news-story-crime-news-crm14-eform-mandatory-from-4-july-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=70256","title":{"rendered":"News story: Crime news: CRM14 eForm mandatory from 4 July 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>CRM14 eForms will be mandatory for criminal legal applications from 4 July 2016 and support is available to help paper form users switch to online working \u2013 see below.<\/p>\n<p>The success of the CRM14 eForm is shown by the fact that more than 90% of applications are already submitted online instead of using the paper alternative.<\/p>\n<p>But for the relatively small number who have yet to make the switch it is important that you start learning about the online process now.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"last-paper-applications\">Last paper applications<\/h3>\n<p>The final date for which paper applications can be submitted for magistrates\u2019 and Crown Court cases are as follows:<\/p>\n<p>Magistrates\u2019 court cases<\/p>\n<p>Any application will be accepted on paper providing it is:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>date stamped by the court or signed by client on or before 3 July 2016<\/li>\n<li>received at the Legal Aid Agency (LAA) within 1 month i.e. by 5 August 2016\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Crown Court cases<\/p>\n<p>Any application will be accepted on paper providing it is:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>signed by client on or before 3 July 2016<\/li>\n<li>received at LAA within 1 month i.e. by 5 August 2016<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 id=\"what-support-is-available\">What support is available?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>training videos \u2013 covering key steps to successfully submitting online applications<\/li>\n<li>quick user guides<\/li>\n<li>online Webex training sessions are being held in the lead up to 4 July 2016<\/li>\n<li>\u2018frequently asked questions\u2019 \u2013 refreshed and updated to reflect that the CRM14 eForm will be mandatory<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>See \u2018further information\u2019 below to access these resources on the \u2018crime eForm\u2019 page. There is also a booking link for training.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"future-changes-to-the-eform\">Future changes to the eForm<\/h3>\n<p>A number of improvements are being worked on.
