{"id":70682,"date":"2016-05-18T14:02:58","date_gmt":"2016-05-18T14:02:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=e8c5b5bcdb2a9a1347a594365dee4e17"},"modified":"2016-05-18T14:02:58","modified_gmt":"2016-05-18T14:02:58","slug":"news-story-new-skills-funding-service-makes-it-easier-for-providers-to-manage-their-contracts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=70682","title":{"rendered":"News story: New Skills Funding Service makes it easier for providers to manage their contracts"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>The new Skills Funding Service (SFS) will enable:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>secure access to contract information<\/li>\n<li>a simplified process for providers to access their contract information<\/li>\n<li>quicker response times for queries<\/li>\n<li>reduced carbon footprint, providers no longer need to print off contracts to sign and return, whilst continuing to ensure an audit trail of contractual documents<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We have developed the new service with provider feedback in mind, following conversations and surveys with more than 300 providers.<\/p>\n<p>The new service has already been used for issuing and receiving signed electronic versions of ESF contracts for the 2014 to 2020 programme and is now being extended for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Adult Skills Budget 2015 to 2016 contract variations<\/li>\n<li>Adult Education Budget 2016 to 2017 contracts<\/li>\n<li>16-18 apprenticeships\/traineeships 2015\/16 contract variations and 2016\/17 contracts<\/li>\n<li>Advanced Learner (24+) Loans 2015\/16 contract variations and 2016\/17 contracts<\/li>\n<li>AGE 2015\/16 contract variations and 2016\/17 contracts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To ensure access to your contracts for these programmes, including being able to make changes and returns, and receive prompt payment for any increases to your 2015\/2016 and future 2016\/17 contract variations, you will need to ensure your staff register for the contract authoriser role in the Hub role management system by 31 May.<\/p>\n<p>We will soon be contacting colleges\u2019 and other training organisations\u2019 contract authorisers with more information about accessing the new SFS.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Providers can now use a new Skills Funding Service which allows quick access to view and accept contracts and payment information digitally.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":8,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[13],"tags":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/70682"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/users\/8"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcomments&post=70682"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/70682\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fmedia&parent=70682"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcategories&post=70682"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Ftags&post=70682"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
