{"id":71193,"date":"2016-06-06T11:21:16","date_gmt":"2016-06-06T11:21:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=ba900303d573b2897af931bb5a0122b0"},"modified":"2016-06-06T11:21:16","modified_gmt":"2016-06-06T11:21:16","slug":"press-release-repairs-for-a66-east-of-penrith","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=71193","title":{"rendered":"Press release: Repairs for A66 east of Penrith"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>Road users are to benefit from improved conditions along the A66 between Llama Caf\u00e9 and Center Parcs near Penrith in Cumbria thanks to a \u00a3900,000 Highways England resurfacing and drainage repairs project starting next week.<\/p>\n<p>The repairs, which are mainly being delivered overnight, are due to start on Monday (13 June) and should be completed by the end of July.<\/p>\n<p>Highways England project manager Peter Gee said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"last-child\">This resurfacing and drainage repairs project will provide safer and smoother journeys for road users.  We\u2019ll also be refreshing road markings and putting in new reflective road studs.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Most of the work will be done between 8pm and 6am each night using temporary traffic lights, a 40 mph speed limit and occasional convoy arrangements with drivers being led past the roadworks at 10mph by a contractor\u2019s vehicle.
