{"id":71276,"date":"2016-06-08T15:33:55","date_gmt":"2016-06-08T15:33:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=59089015d32f4be06060d32dafea42ef"},"modified":"2016-06-08T15:33:55","modified_gmt":"2016-06-08T15:33:55","slug":"news-story-crime-news-30-june-deadline-to-accept-contract-extension","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=71276","title":{"rendered":"News story: Crime news: 30 June deadline to accept contract extension"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<h2 id=\"extension-offer\">Extension offer<\/h2>\n<p>All providers holding a Crime Contingency Contract have until 30 June 2016 to accept our offer to extend their contract through to 31 March 2017.<\/p>\n<p>The current contingency contract is due to expire on 10 January 2017.<\/p>\n<p>This extension is needed so that we can:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>allow the tender process and mobilisation period to be completed so providers can prepare for a new crime contract in 2017<\/li>\n<li>ensure continuity of crime services from 11 January 2017 to the start date of the replacement crime contract<br \/>\nLetters will be issued to all Crime Contingency Contract holders shortly. Providers will have until 23.59 on 30 June to accept the contract extension.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Any providers who do not accept the extension will retain a contract to the current end date of 10 January 2017.<br \/>\nA copy of the template offer letter will be available to download soon \u2013 see below.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"consultation\">Consultation<\/h3>\n<p>The LAA entered into a three week consultation with representative bodies on the content of the 2017 Standard Crime Contract on 8 June 2016.<\/p>\n<p>Once the consultation has been completed the LAA will invite organisations to tender for this contract.
