{"id":71355,"date":"2016-06-10T22:00:12","date_gmt":"2016-06-10T22:00:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=22c1dc1b47718a53a413593d5b7f0516"},"modified":"2016-06-10T22:00:12","modified_gmt":"2016-06-10T22:00:12","slug":"news-story-phe-staff-awarded-queens-birthday-honours","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=71355","title":{"rendered":"News story: PHE staff awarded Queen\u2019s Birthday honours"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>The Queen\u2019s Birthday honours lists, published today (10 June 2016), recognises the achievements of 3 <abbr title=\"Public Health England\">PHE<\/abbr> staff in protecting and improving the public\u2019s health, both nationally and internationally.<\/p>\n<p>Professor Yvonne Doyle, Regional Director for London, has been awarded a <abbr title=\"Companion of the Order of the Bath\">CB<\/abbr>. Yvonne is an exemplary public health leader and has made a career-long, very significant contribution to the health of Londoners. She has ensured public health concerns such as tobacco control, obesity, Tuberculosis and health inequalities have been prioritised and acted upon, and has acted as a role model for the profession. Yvonne is a member of the London Health Board, chaired by the Mayor of London.<\/p>\n<p>Pauline Watts, National Lead Nurse for Quality, Mental Health, Learning Disability and Dementia, has been awarded an <abbr title=\"Officer of the Order of the British Empire\">OBE<\/abbr> in recognition of her significant contribution to nursing services and health visiting. Pauline supported the delivery of the national health visiting programme \u2018A Call to Action\u2019 and to the nursing framework \u2018Modernising Nursing Careers\u2019.
