The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 30 June 2016 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.<\/p>\n

A38 \u2013 Weeford exit slip road: carriageway work<\/h2>\n

The southbound exit slip road will be closed for one night from 8pm on 6 July until 6am the following morning (7 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A38 (M) \u2013 M6 links from out of city A38 (M): carriageway work<\/h2>\n

The links from out of city A38(M) will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 4 July until 10 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A38 (M) \u2013 Tyburn Road merge onto A38 (M): structural and carriageway work<\/h2>\n

The link roads from Tyburn Road to A38 (M) towards city Aston Expressway will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 4 July until 10 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A46 Kenilworth Bypass: major improvement scheme<\/h2>\n

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am on Monday 4 July and Tuesday 5 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A46 Coventry Eastern Bypass: major improvement scheme<\/h2>\n

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am on Wednesday 6 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A45 Stonebridge Highway: major improvement scheme<\/h2>\n

The westbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am on Thursday 7 July. The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am on Friday 8 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A49 \u2013 Stapleton to Condover: carriageway resurfacing<\/h2>\n

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 7pm and 6.30am from 4 July until 10 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A49 \u2013 Llandinabo to Wormlow, from Marsh Lane to Tump Lane: carriageway resurfacing

A49 \u2013 Tump Lane slip road: CCTV work<\/h2>\n

The slip road will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 6 July until 10 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A49 \u2013 A49\/A489 Grove junction to A49\/B4370 Marshbrook junction: pavement renewal scheme<\/h2>\n

The carriageway will be closed overnight between 10pm and 6am from 6 July until 10 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A5 \u2013 Holyhead Road to Wolfeshead roundabout: carriageway repairs<\/h2>\n

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 7pm and 7am from 4 July until 9 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

The southbound link road will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 4 July until 10 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M42 \u2013 junction 3 exit slip road: drainage repairs<\/h2>\n

The westbound exit slip road will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 4 July 6 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M42 \u2013 junction 9 entry slip road: carriageway resurfacing<\/h2>\n

The northbound entry slip road will be closed overnight between 10pm and 6am from 5 July to 8 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M42 \u2013 junction 3 exit slip road: survey work<\/h2>\n

The northbound exit slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm on 6 July until 5am the following morning (7 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M42 \u2013 junction 3 entry slip road: survey work<\/h2>\n

The southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm on 7 July until 5am the following morning (8 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M42 \u2013 junction 4 exit slip road: streetlight repairs<\/h2>\n

The southbound exit slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm on 7 July until 5am the following morning (8 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M42 \u2013 junction 3 exit slip road: survey work<\/h2>\n

The southbound exit slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm on 8 July until 5am the following morning (9 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M42 \u2013 junction 6 to A45 link road: traffic alignment<\/h2>\n

The slip road leading to the A45 Westbound will be closed overnight for one night from 8pm on 9 July until 8am the following morning (10 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M5 \u2013 junction 4a to junction 5: major scheme work<\/h2>\n

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am on 4, 5, 8 and 9 July. The carriageway will be closed in both directions on 7 July. Diversion routes will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M5 \u2013 junction 5 to junction 6: major scheme work<\/h2>\n

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am on Tuesday 5 July. The northbound carriageway, including the M5 junction 5 northbound entry slip road, will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am on Wednesday 6 July.<\/p>\n

M5 \u2013 junction 7 entry slip road: installation of narrow lanes<\/h2>\n

The northbound entry slip road will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 4 July until 10 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M54 \u2013 junction 3 entry slip road: surveys and investigation work<\/h2>\n

The eastbound entry slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm the 4 July until 5am the following morning (5 July). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

There will be a 24-hour carriageway closure in both directions from 1 July 2016 ongoing until 23 December 2017. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 10pm and 5am from 6 July until 8 July. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n
