{"id":72094,"date":"2016-07-07T14:08:00","date_gmt":"2016-07-07T14:08:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=1f1910d33f89329e8b754da474e131c3"},"modified":"2016-07-08T13:49:52","modified_gmt":"2016-07-08T13:49:52","slug":"news-story-first-of-a-kind-deployment-of-innovation-apply-for-funding","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=72094","title":{"rendered":"News story: First of a kind deployment of innovation: apply for funding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Updated:<\/em> Added registration link for the briefing event on 12 July 2016.<\/p>\n<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>Innovate UK is inviting businesses to test and evaluate new infrastructure technologies for the first time in real-world environments.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of this competition is to make sure that innovative infrastructure systems are ready for market by proving:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the financing and business models for the innovation<\/li>\n<li>that the innovation delivers the expected outcomes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We are also looking for projects that provide information about the role new financial products can play in supporting this stage of the commercialisation process.<\/p>\n<p>The competition will be in 2 phases:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>phase 1 is a funded study, with projects ranging in size and total costs of up to \u00a350,000<\/li>\n<li>phase 2 is for testing innovations in a commercial environment.
