{"id":72518,"date":"2016-07-19T14:29:22","date_gmt":"2016-07-19T14:29:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=e28f0227d391224ae061a1cee4437dee"},"modified":"2016-07-19T14:29:22","modified_gmt":"2016-07-19T14:29:22","slug":"news-story-planning-inspectorate-publishes-annual-report-and-accounts-for-201516","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=72518","title":{"rendered":"News story: Planning Inspectorate publishes annual report and accounts for 2015\/16"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/the-planning-inspectorate-annual-report-and-accounts-201516\">Annual Report and Accounts<\/a> sets out the Inspectorate\u2019s performance and financial position for the year, during which the organisation achieved a great deal:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the proportion of appeals meeting the Planning Guarantee increased from almost 85% to over 93%<\/li>\n<li>all Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project (NSIP) casework met the statutory targets, including the fiftieth NSIP to be decided since the start of the Planning Act (2008) regime<\/li>\n<li>all Development Plans and Community Infrastructure Levy schedules were examined within agreed timescales<br \/>\n*in Wales, the Inspectorate exceeded tighter targets of 85% for both planning and enforcement appeals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The report acknowledges that in several areas of the planning appeals service the organisation fell short of meeting its targets, resulting in many customers experiencing significant delays.
