The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of the above date but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.<\/p>\n

Bristol<\/h2>\n

M32 junction 1 to 2: MetroBus scheme (Bristol City Council work)<\/h3>\n

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in operation northbound and southbound until the end of November.<\/p>\n

M4 junction 19 to junction 20: Smart Motorway maintenance<\/h3>\n

Westbound carriageway, including Junction 19 entry slip road, will be closed overnight from 10pm on 31 August until 6am on 1 September. Diversion will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M5 junction 16 to junction 14: Smart Motorway maintenance<\/h3>\n

Northbound carriageway, including Junction 16 entry slip road, will be closed overnight from 9pm on 30 August until 6am on 31 August. Diversion will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M5 junction 16: Smart Motorway maintenance<\/h3>\n

Southbound parallel link road, including J Loop and junction 16 exit link road, will be closed overnight from 9pm on 31 August until 6am on 1 September. Diversion will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M5 junction 16 to junction 17: Smart Motorway maintenance<\/h3>\n

Southbound carriageway, including Junction 16 entry slip road, will be closed nightly, 10pm to 6am, from 1 September until 3 September. Diversion will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

Gloucestershire<\/h2>\n

M5 junction 14 to 12: bridge maintenance<\/h3>\n

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in place on the southbound and northbound carriageway until June 2017.<\/p>\n

M5 junction 10 to 11A: structures<\/h3>\n

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in operation northbound and southbound until mid-November.<\/p>\n

M5 junction 11A: bridge joint repair<\/h3>\n

Northbound carriageway between exit and entry slip road, including R and U loop, will be closed overnight from 9pm on 30 August until 6am on 31 August. Diversion will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M5 junction 11A: bridge joint repair<\/h3>\n

Southbound carriageway between exit and entry slip road will be closed nightly, 9pm to 6am, from 1 September until 3 September. Diversion will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A40 Elmbridge Court roundabout: construction work<\/h3>\n

Lane closure will be in place until February 2018<\/p>\n

Wiltshire<\/h2>\n

A36 Heytesbury to Deptford: surveys<\/h3>\n

Carriageway closure will take place overnight from 8pm on 31 August until 6am on 1 September. Diversion will be clearly signposted<\/p>\n

A36 Deptford: joint replacement<\/h3>\n

Southbound carriageway will be closed overnight between A303 exit slip road and A303 entry slip road from 8pm on 2 September until 6am on 3 September. Diversion will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n
