It is the UK\u2019s leading low carbon vehicle event and features a technology exhibition, seminars and opportunities to drive the latest low carbon and ultra-low emission vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>All the major motor industry manufacturers and players will be at the event, which is expected to attract 3,000 delegates.<\/p>\n<div class=\"call-to-action\">\n<p><a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cenex-lcv.co.uk\/2016\/\">Find out more about LCV-Cenex 2016<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The UK Pavilion will feature the UK public funding organisations supporting development of low carbon vehicles including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Innovate UK<\/li>\n<li>\n<a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.apcuk.co.uk\/\">Advanced Propulsion Centre<\/a> (APC) and its \u2018spokes\u2019 communities<\/li>\n<li><a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.automotivecouncil.co.uk\/\">Automotive Council<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Centre for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/organisations\/department-for-international-trade\">Department for International Trade<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.lowcvp.org.uk\/\">Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/organisations\/office-for-low-emission-vehicles\">Office for Low Emission Vehicles<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure class=\"image embedded\">\n<div class=\"img\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"ride and drive cenex-lcv 2015\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.publishing.service.gov.uk\/government\/uploads\/system\/uploads\/image_data\/file\/55799\/ride-and-drive-cenex.jpg\"><\/div><figcaption>The ride and drive is a popular feature of the Cenex-LCV event.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2 id=\"uk-is-recognised-globally-for-its-innovation-support\">UK is recognised globally for its innovation support<\/h2>\n<p>Simon Edmonds, Innovate UK\u2019s director for manufacturing and materials, said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"last-child\">The UK has a globally recognised innovation ecosystem in the automotive sector, and Innovate UK plays a key part, working with our partners to support innovation and boost growth.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"last-child\">This year\u2019s UK Pavilion at LCV 2016 is a manifestation of this strong joint strategic partnership.
