{"id":74340,"date":"2016-09-21T10:13:05","date_gmt":"2016-09-21T10:13:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=95f625aa585a4db29b6da07d902079e9"},"modified":"2016-09-21T10:13:05","modified_gmt":"2016-09-21T10:13:05","slug":"news-story-nhs-expertise-in-the-international-spotlight","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=74340","title":{"rendered":"News story: NHS expertise in the international spotlight"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>36 senior leaders from China, Hong Kong, Mexico, UAE, Kuwait and Finland attended NHS England\u2019s <a rel=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.england.nhs.uk\/expo\/\">Health and Care Innovation Expo<\/a> in Manchester to meet with UK healthcare providers, particularly NHS organisations, and forge international collaborations.<\/p>\n<p>The international delegation was welcomed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/people\/david-prior\">Lord Prior<\/a>, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Health, and had the opportunity to hear from <a rel=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/gov.uk\/government\/people\/jeremy-hunt\">Jeremy Hunt<\/a>, Secretary of State for Health and Simon Stevens, Chief Executive, <a rel=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.england.nhs.uk\/about\/\">NHS England<\/a>.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"image embedded\">\n<div class=\"img\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Lord Prior in discussion with  the Mexican delegation\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.publishing.service.gov.uk\/government\/uploads\/system\/uploads\/image_data\/file\/56476\/Lord_Prior_South_America_960x640.jpg\"><\/div><figcaption>Lord Prior in discussion with  the Mexican delegation<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Expo showcased the best of British healthcare innovation from personalised care and genomics to digital health and new models of care delivery.
