November 2016 in the following areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>exceptional case funding (ECF)<\/li>\n<li>high cost civil applications<\/li>\n<li>immigration applications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The email address is:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"mailto:contactECC@legalaid.gsi.gov.uk\">contactECC@legalaid.gsi.gov.uk<\/a><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"help-us-answer-enquiries-quickly\">Help us answer enquiries quickly<\/h3>\n<p>In order to direct your email to the correct team you need to provide specific information in the email subject line.<br \/>\nThis should include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>key words (stated below in bullet points)<\/li>\n<li>application\/claim form number (if appropriate)<\/li>\n<li>client reference number<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The key word will change according to where the case sits within the ECC team.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"exceptional-case-funding-applicationenquiry\">Exceptional Case Funding application\/enquiry<\/h3>\n<p>If you are providing information about an ongoing ECF case, or have a question about an application where a certificate has been granted, you should select one of the following \u2018subject\u2019 titles:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>ECF<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional case funding<\/li>\n<li>Direct applicant<\/li>\n<li>Inquest<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 id=\"high-cost-civil-applicationenquiry\">High Cost Civil application\/enquiry<\/h3>\n<p>If you are providing information about an ongoing HCC case, or have a question about an application where a certificate has been granted, you should select one of the following subject titles:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High Cost Civil<\/li>\n<li>HCC<\/li>\n<li>Case plans<\/li>\n<li>QC<\/li>\n<li>Events<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 id=\"immigration-applicationenquiry\">Immigration application\/enquiry<\/h3>\n<p>If you are providing information about an ongoing immigration case, or have a question about an application where a certificate has been granted, you should select one of the following subject titles:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Immigration<\/li>\n<li>Asylum<\/li>\n<li>SIAC<\/li>\n<li>Special Immigration Appeals Commission<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 id=\"mailboxes-closing\">Mailboxes closing<\/h3>\n<p>The move to a single email address means that the mailboxes will close on 11 November and will no longer be monitored after that date:<\/p>\n<p><a
