We pushed for this and fully support the imposition of these sanctions as another way to increase pressure on the Asad regime and its backers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"last-child\">These additional 10 individuals sanctioned include military commanders responsible for abhorrent chemical weapons attacks against civilians and for planning military assaults in Aleppo.
