The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of 4 November 2016 but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.<\/p>\n

A38 \u2013 Streethay northbound exit slip road and southbound entry slip road: carriageway work<\/h2>\n

The slip roads will be closed 24 hours a day from 24 July until 11 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A38 \u2013 Hilliards Cross exit slip road: carriageway work<\/h2>\n

The northbound exit slip road will be closed 24 hours a day from 24 August until 21 December. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A38 \u2013 Branston to Claymills associated slip roads: carriageway work<\/h2>\n

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 9.30pm and 6am from 7 November until 9 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A38 \u2013 Toyota exit slip road: grass cutting<\/h2>\n

The northbound exit slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm 9 November until 6am the following morning (10 November). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A45 \u2013 Ryton exit slip road: technology work<\/h2>\n

The westbound exit slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 10pm on 10 November until 5am the following morning (11 November). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A46 \u2013 M40 junction 15 roundabout: carriageway repairs<\/h2>\n

The roundabout will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 7 November until 9 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A5 \u2013 Ogley Hay to Rising Sun roundabout: carriageway repairs<\/h2>\n

The carriageway will be closed in both directions overnight between 9pm and 6am from 7 November until 10 November. Please note the carriageway will not be closed in one direction each night. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A500 \u2013 A5006 from Michelin roundabout and A500 northbound sideway slip road: material deliveries<\/h2>\n

The northbound carriageway and slip road will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 7 November until 13 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A500 \u2013 Talke Island: bridge work<\/h2>\n

The westside of the island will be closed for 24 hours a day from 19 September ongoing until 23 December. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A500 \u2013 Alsagar to Talke: drainage works<\/h2>\n

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 9 November until 13 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M42 \u2013 junction 9 entry and link from M6 southbound: off network work<\/h2>\n

The carriageway and slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 10.30pm on 9 November until 5.30am 10 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M42 \u2013 junction 3a link to M40 to M42: off network work<\/h2>\n

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm 10 November until 6am the following morning (11 November). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M5 \u2013 junction 5a to junction 4: major scheme work<\/h2>\n

The northbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am on 7 November and 10 November. On the 7 November, the northbound entry slip road will also be closed. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M5 \u2013 junction 4a to junction 5: major scheme work<\/h2>\n

The southbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 8pm and 6am from 8 and 9 November and again on 11 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted<\/p>\n

M54 \u2013 junction 3 to junction 2: carriageway works<\/h2>\n

The eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight between 9pm and 5am from 7 November until 13 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M54 \u2013 junction 1 exit slip road: carriageway repairs<\/h2>\n

The eastbound exit slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm on 8 November until 6am the following morning (9 November). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M54 \u2013 junction 5 exit slip road: carriageway repairs<\/h2>\n

The eastbound exit slip road will be closed overnight for one night from 9pm on 10 November until 6am the following morning (11 November). A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M6 \u2013 junction 10 to junction 8 including associated slip roads: carriageway work<\/h2>\n

The southbound carriageway and associated slip roads will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 7 November until 13 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M6 \u2013 junction 10 entry slip road: carriageway work<\/h2>\n

The southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 7 November until 14 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M6 \u2013 junction 9 entry and exit slip roads: carriageway work<\/h2>\n

The southbound entry and exit slip roads will be closed overnight between 9pm and 6am from 7 November until 13 November. A diversion route will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n
