{"id":76121,"date":"2016-11-16T10:57:12","date_gmt":"2016-11-16T10:57:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=eec2d407103f019835bb756dd2c1fa5c"},"modified":"2016-11-16T10:57:12","modified_gmt":"2016-11-16T10:57:12","slug":"press-release-smoother-journeys-from-a66-resurfacing-west-of-penrith","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=76121","title":{"rendered":"Press release: Smoother journeys from A66 resurfacing west of Penrith"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>A mile long section of the eastbound dual carriageway between Hutton and Dacre junctions is being resurfaced in a \u00a3480,000, month-long project starting on Monday (21 November).<\/p>\n<p>Highways England project manager Peter Gee said:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"last-child\">This is part of our ongoing work to ensure that users of the A66 can continue to enjoy safe and smooth journeys.  We\u2019ve planned the work carefully to ensure we can do most of it at night and without too much disruption to drivers\u2019 journeys.  The eastbound carriageway will remain open at all times.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The work will be taking place between 8pm and 6am and occasionally, drivers may need to be taken past the road works in 10mph convoys led by a contractor\u2019s vehicle.
