The following summary of planned new and ongoing road improvements over the coming week is correct as of the above date but could be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. All our improvement work is carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.<\/p>\n

Bristol<\/h2>\n

M32 junction 1 to junction 2: MetroBus scheme (Bristol City Council work)<\/h3>\n

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in operation northbound and southbound until 16 December.<\/p>\n

M32 junction 2 to junction 3: MetroBus scheme (Bristol City Council work)<\/h3>\n

Narrow lanes with 40mph speed restrictions will be in operation northbound and southbound until mid-March 2017.<\/p>\n

M32 junction 2: joint repairs<\/h3>\n

Southbound carriageway between exit slip road and entry slip road will be closed overnight from 8pm on 9 December until 6am on 10 December. Diversion will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M32 junction 3: joint repairs<\/h3>\n

Northbound carriageway between exit slip road and entry slip road will be closed overnight from 8pm on 9 December until 6am on 10 December. Diversion will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

Gloucestershire<\/h2>\n

M5 junction 14 to junction 12: bridge maintenance<\/h3>\n

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in operation northbound and southbound until June 2017.<\/p>\n

M5 junction 10 to junction 11A: structures<\/h3>\n

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions will be in operation northbound and southbound until January 2017.<\/p>\n

M5 junction 13: structures<\/h3>\n

Southbound entry slip road and exit slip road will be closed overnight from 9pm on 6 December until 6am on 7 December. Diversion will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M4 Second Severn Crossing: resurfacing<\/h3>\n

Eastbound carriageway will be closed overnight from 8pm on 11 December until 6am on 12 December. Diversion will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

A40 Elmbridge Court Roundabout: construction work<\/h3>\n

Narrow lanes with 40mph speed restrictions will be in place until February 2018.<\/p>\n

Wiltshire<\/h2>\n

M4 junction 16: roundabout reconstruction<\/h3>\n

Narrow lanes with 40mph speed restrictions will be in place on the eastbound exit slip road until October 2017.<\/p>\n

North Somerset<\/h2>\n

M5 junction 21: structure inspection work<\/h3>\n

Northbound carriageway between exit slip road and entry slip road will be closed overnight from 8pm on 7 December until 6am on 8 December. Diversion will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

Northbound carriageway between exit slip road and entry slip road will be closed overnight from 8pm on 8 December until 6am on 9 December. Diversion will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

M5 junction 21: resurfacing<\/h3>\n

Southbound entry slip road will be closed overnight from 8pm on 6 December until 6am on 7 December. Diversions will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

Somerset<\/h2>\n

M5 junction 22 to junction 23: barrier construction<\/h3>\n

Narrow lanes with 50mph speed restrictions and lane 3 closure will be in operation northbound and southbound until 22 December.<\/p>\n

M5 junction 24: structure inspection work<\/h3>\n

Northbound and southbound carriageways between exit slip road and entry slip road will be closed nightly, 8pm to 6am, from 5 December until 7 December. Diversion will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n

Devon<\/h2>\n

M5 junction 28: resurfacing<\/h3>\n

Northbound entry slip road will be closed overnight from 8pm on 7 December until 6am on 8 December. Diversion will be clearly signposted.<\/p>\n
