{"id":76872,"date":"2016-12-05T11:00:15","date_gmt":"2016-12-05T11:00:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=a059f23a89e43ad140cc16dc9b4a0cab"},"modified":"2016-12-05T11:00:15","modified_gmt":"2016-12-05T11:00:15","slug":"news-story-removing-adult-literacy-and-numeracy-criteria-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=76872","title":{"rendered":"News story: Removing adult literacy and numeracy criteria"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>Today (Monday 5 December), we are announcing our intention to withdraw our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/criteria-for-adult-literacy-and-numeracy-qualifications\">Criteria for Adult Literacy and Numeracy Qualifications<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The criteria were first published by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) in 2004, and set out rules and regulations for Certificates in Adult Literacy and Certificates in Adult Numeracy.<\/p>\n<p>These qualifications have been replaced by Functional Skills qualifications.
