{"id":77669,"date":"2017-01-03T14:28:49","date_gmt":"2017-01-03T14:28:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=5dd567e0d353d99445f6634f515a1557"},"modified":"2017-01-03T14:28:49","modified_gmt":"2017-01-03T14:28:49","slug":"press-release-uk-ambassador-to-uruguay-presents-his-diplomatic-credentials","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=77669","title":{"rendered":"Press release: UK ambassador to Uruguay presents his diplomatic credentials"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>British ambassador to Uruguay Ian Duddy, made the official presentation of his diplomatic credentials to President Tabar\u00e9 V\u00e1zquez on 26th December, thus completing the formalities of his post.<\/p>\n<p>The Secretary of the Presidency, Miguel Angel Toma and Deputy Foreign Minister Jos\u00e9 Luis Cancela also attended the ceremony at the Executive Tower in Montevideo.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Duddy took up post as Her Majesty\u2019s Ambassador to Uruguay in October 2016. He joined the Diplomatic Service in 2000 and has carried out a variety of roles in London and over the world, most recently as Political Counselor &amp; Head of Political, Human Rights &amp; Press in the UK Mission to the UN in Geneva.<\/p>\n<p>He previously served as Deputy Director (International) in the UK Intellectual Property Office Department of Business, Innovation &amp; Skills.
