{"id":77947,"date":"2017-01-13T08:15:03","date_gmt":"2017-01-13T08:15:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=c320c62c60c0e6f35064349c6fbf6ee9"},"modified":"2017-01-13T08:15:03","modified_gmt":"2017-01-13T08:15:03","slug":"news-story-technologies-to-cut-vehicle-emissions-apply-for-apc7-funding","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=77947","title":{"rendered":"News story: Technologies to cut vehicle emissions: apply for APC7 funding"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p><a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.apcuk.co.uk\/\">The Advanced Propulsion Centre<\/a> (APC) working in partnership with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/organisations\/department-for-business-energy-and-industrial-strategy\">Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy<\/a> and Innovate UK has up to \u00a335 million to support projects to develop low-carbon automotive technologies.<\/p>\n<p>The competition for funding is the seventh in a series run by the APC, and its aim is to take demonstrated on-vehicle technologies towards commercialisation in either on or off-road vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>Projects must:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>develop technologies that will lead to significant reductions in vehicle CO2 or other emissions<\/li>\n<li>align with <a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.automotivecouncil.co.uk\/2013\/09\/automotive-technology-roadmaps\/\">Automotive Council Technology Group roadmaps<\/a>\n<\/li>\n<li>develop the UK\u2019s supply chain capability in low-carbon vehicle propulsion or light-weight systems technology<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The APC was formed in 2013 by the Government and the automotive industry to make the UK a global centre of excellence for low-carbon vehicle development and production.<\/p>\n<p>It runs a funding competition every six months in support of that objective.
