{"id":78925,"date":"2017-02-14T09:04:58","date_gmt":"2017-02-14T09:04:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=e0c44cf2ae3cc4a1eff7799f6766be91"},"modified":"2017-02-14T09:04:58","modified_gmt":"2017-02-14T09:04:58","slug":"news-story-civil-news-improvements-to-electronic-cw3-immigration-forms","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=78925","title":{"rendered":"News story: Civil news: improvements to electronic CW3 immigration forms"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>Changes have been made to the following electronic versions of the CW3 form in response to feedback from providers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CW3B Imm: Application for extension of Upper Costs Limit (electronic version)<\/li>\n<li>CW3C Imm: Graduated Fee Scheme \u2013 application for extension of Disbursement Limit (electronic version)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The improvements include:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>more Excel formulas to auto calculate totals<\/li>\n<li>additional dropdown menu options<\/li>\n<li>removal of requirement for details of work done to date<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 id=\"process-and-benefits\">Process and benefits<\/h3>\n<p>There have been no changes to the process for submitting electronic forms, which have the following benefits compared to the Word versions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>saves time because totals are validated as you complete the form<\/li>\n<li>electronic signatures accepted so no need to print off, sign and scan before emailing<\/li>\n<li>forms can be completed online, submitted directly by email and saved on to your system<\/li>\n<li>documents can still be attached to support applications e.g. ledger\/running record of costs<\/li>\n<li>caseworkers able to process forms more efficiently so decisions made faster<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 id=\"helpful-hints\">Helpful hints<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>when opening form click the \u2018enable content\u2019 button at the top of screen above column \u2018E\u2019<\/li>\n<li>section 2 of CW3B form does not need to be completed if you can attach a running record of costs confirming work carried out to date<\/li>\n<li>remember that all CW3 applications must go to this mailbox: <a href=\"mailto:cw3@legalaid.gsi.gov.uk\">cw3@legalaid.gsi.gov.uk<\/a>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 id=\"support-and-advice\">Support and advice<\/h3>\n<p>If you need help using these forms then support is available from the Mental Health Unit and Escape Cases Team.<\/p>\n<p>Electronic CW3 forms will eventually be mandatory to use and the option to scan and email Word versions instead will be removed.
