Its \u2019keywaves\u2019 are sensitive to initial strike force, pressure and left\u2013right finger placement.<\/p>\n<div class=\"call-to-action\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/collections\/innovate-uk-emerging-and-enabling-technologies\">Read about our work in emerging and enabling technologies<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The instrument is used in a seminal scene with Ryan Gosling\u2019s character, Sebastian, joining a band fronted by musician John Legend. It marks the upturn of his career as the\u00a0jazz purist comes to accept that the music he loves needs to evolve to gain a broader audience and survive.<\/p>\n<p>As well as the Oscar, the film won a Golden Globe for Best Original Score and British Academy Film Award for Best Film Music.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"support-from-innovate-uk\">Support from Innovate UK<\/h2>\n<p>Innovate UK has a long history with ROLI.
