Providers who submit claims and outcomes at the same time will lengthen the time it takes for us to pay them for their work.<\/p>\n

For that reason, we ask that you submit your outcome in advance of your claim. This is because the outcome has to be processed before the claim.<\/p>\n

Work queue<\/h3>\n

Case outcomes and the claim are separate processes within CCMS. The case outcome must be resolved before
\nthe claim can be considered.<\/p>\n

The way CCMS work means that the claim will not go into the work queue until the outcome has been dealt with and resolved.<\/p>\n

We may have questions about the outcome you have submitted and these need to be resolved before we can consider your claim.<\/p>\n

Examples where common questions crop up include cases where the statutory charge may apply or costs are payable by another party. Details of these must be provided when submitting outcomes.<\/p>\n

Final claim<\/h3>\n

When your final claim is ready for submission you must ensure that you have successfully submitted and completed the outcomes for all proceedings in the case.<\/p>\n

Processing times<\/h3>\n

When contacting us about work remember that the current average time shown for processing your claim on GOV.UK covers days taken for the \u2018claim aspect\u2019 only.<\/p>\n

Reporting outcomes in advance helps us to ensure your claim can be dealt with quickly upon receipt.<\/p>\n
