His reappointment commences on 3 September 2017 for a further 2 years.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"further-information\">Further information<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>The <abbr title=\"Competition and Markets Authority\">CMA<\/abbr> is a non-ministerial department created under the <a rel=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/www.legislation.gov.uk\/ukpga\/2013\/24\/part\/3\/enacted\">Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Act (ERRA) 2013<\/a>. It is the principal competition authority in the UK.
