{"id":80662,"date":"2017-04-11T06:00:23","date_gmt":"2017-04-11T06:00:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=520a2e2a6fe267802ba84f3d13a88b17"},"modified":"2017-04-11T06:00:23","modified_gmt":"2017-04-11T06:00:23","slug":"news-story-cma-accepts-mastercardvocalink-undertakings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=80662","title":{"rendered":"News story: CMA accepts Mastercard\/VocaLink undertakings"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>On 18 January 2017, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/news\/cma-to-consider-mastercardvocalink-remedies\">announced it would look in detail<\/a> at whether the undertakings offered by Mastercard UK Holdco Limited, an affiliate of MasterCard International Incorporated (Mastercard), and VocaLink Holdings Ltd (VocaLink) removed the need to carry out an in-depth merger investigation.<\/p>\n<p>The package of measures offered by Mastercard and VocaLink consisted of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>VocaLink making its existing network connectivity available to a new supplier of infrastructure services to LINK.
