{"id":81066,"date":"2017-04-27T08:11:00","date_gmt":"2017-04-27T08:11:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=ff0bb593bff5f580b8a447b9c9a27ca5"},"modified":"2017-05-30T14:59:12","modified_gmt":"2017-05-30T14:59:12","slug":"news-story-accelerator-innovation-network-event-autonomous-last-mile-resupply","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=81066","title":{"rendered":"News story: Accelerator innovation network event: autonomous last mile resupply"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Updated:<\/em> Presentation slides now added.<\/p>\n<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>Suppliers attended the event and heard presentations about the autonomous last mile resupply themed competition which seeks to develop and demonstrate the use of autonomous systems to deliver mission-critical supplies, focusing on the challenging \u2018last mile\u2019 resupply in the land environment.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/accelerator-competition-autonomous-last-mile-supply\">competition<\/a> is seeking new technologies, processes and ways of working to improve the way we deliver mission-critical supplies, focusing on the challenging \u2018last mile\u2019 resupply in the land environment.<\/p>\n<p>It involves delivering combat supplies from the forward-most location to personnel engaged in combat operations. Although relatively small in distance, these resupply activities are challenging as they are in an environment that is typically hostile, complex and contested.
