{"id":81617,"date":"2017-06-16T08:26:00","date_gmt":"2017-06-16T08:26:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=9c99df3c28410432db29a814c5f432f5"},"modified":"2017-07-17T15:40:52","modified_gmt":"2017-07-17T15:40:52","slug":"news-story-vcse-health-and-wellbeing-alliance-members-announced","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=81617","title":{"rendered":"News story: VCSE Health and Wellbeing Alliance members announced"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Updated:<\/em> This page has been updated to reflect the fact that the National Council for Palliative Care has since changed its name to End of Life Care Consortium.<\/p>\n<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>On 20 April 2017 the Department of Health, Public Health England and NHS England announced the 21 members of the new voluntary, community and social enterprise (<abbr title=\"voluntary, community and social enterprise\">VCSE<\/abbr>) Health and Wellbeing Alliance.<\/p>\n<p>They are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Age UK<\/li>\n<li>Carers Partnership<\/li>\n<li>Citizen\u2019s Advice<\/li>\n<li>Clinks, Nacro<\/li>\n<li>Complex Needs Consortium<\/li>\n<li>End of Life Care Consortium<\/li>\n<li>FaithAction<\/li>\n<li>Friends, Families and Travellers<\/li>\n<li>Homeless Link<\/li>\n<li>Maternity Action<\/li>\n<li>Men\u2019s Health Forum<\/li>\n<li>Mental Health Consortium<\/li>\n<li>National Voices<\/li>\n<li>National Association for Voluntary and Community Action<\/li>\n<li>National Council for Voluntary Organisations<\/li>\n<li>Race Equality Foundation<\/li>\n<li>The National LGB&amp;T Partnership<\/li>\n<li>The Valuing People Alliance<\/li>\n<li>UK Health Forum<\/li>\n<li>Young People\u2019s Health Partnership<\/li>\n<li>Win-Win Alliance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The members were selected from over 180 organisations that applied to join.<\/p>\n<p>The alliance aims to make it easier for the voluntary and statutory sectors to work together to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>improve health and care systems<\/li>\n<li>address health inequalities<\/li>\n<li>help people, families and communities to achieve and maintain wellbeing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It also aims to bring the <abbr title=\"voluntary, community and social enterprise\">VCSE<\/abbr> sector\u2019s voice and expertise into national policy making.<\/p>\n<p>The alliance succeeds the Health and Care Strategic Partner Programme, which ended on 31 March 2017.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New alliance aims to bring the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector\u2019s voice and expertise into national policy making.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":8,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[13],"tags":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/81617"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/users\/8"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcomments&post=81617"}],"version-history":[{"count":2,"href":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/81617\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":82642,"href":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/81617\/revisions\/82642"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fmedia&parent=81617"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcategories&post=81617"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Ftags&post=81617"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
