{"id":81664,"date":"2017-06-19T08:30:09","date_gmt":"2017-06-19T08:30:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=e6d2a6d6337fb8cb9d064fc18fe87bd7"},"modified":"2017-06-19T08:30:09","modified_gmt":"2017-06-19T08:30:09","slug":"news-story-ofsted-launches-point-in-time-questionnaires","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=81664","title":{"rendered":"News story: Ofsted launches point-in-time questionnaires"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>Ofsted has today (Monday 19 June) issued its annual point-in-time questionnaires to children\u2019s social services.<\/p>\n<p>The questionnaires are about children\u2019s homes, fostering services, adoption agencies, adoption support agencies and residential family centres.<\/p>\n<p>Ofsted inspectors want to hear what children and young people, staff, social workers and other professionals have to say about these services. Their responses will help inform future inspections.<\/p>\n<p>Questions for children and young people include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>do staff look after you well?<\/li>\n<li>do you feel safe in your children\u2019s home?<\/li>\n<li>can you talk to staff about how you feel?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Questions for parents and carers include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>can your child take part in activities that interest them?<\/li>\n<li>are your child\u2019s health needs met?<\/li>\n<li>does your child have good relationships with the staff at the home?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ofsted is asking for responses by 13 August 2017.<\/p>\n<p>In August 2017 Ofsted will also send questionnaires to residential provision in further education colleges and boarding and residential special schools.<\/p>\n<p>Services should provide staff and users with a link to the questionnaire.
