{"id":82575,"date":"2017-07-14T11:32:39","date_gmt":"2017-07-14T11:32:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?guid=50953e083aebba96aa83b812a8e2d5ed"},"modified":"2017-07-14T11:32:39","modified_gmt":"2017-07-14T11:32:39","slug":"news-story-technology-solutions-for-gestational-diabetes-apply-for-funding","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mostafa.openonline.co.uk\/?p=82575","title":{"rendered":"News story: Technology solutions for gestational diabetes: apply for funding"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"govspeak\">\n<p>The <a rel=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.health-ni.gov.uk\/\">Department of Health<\/a> and <a rel=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.economy-ni.gov.uk\/\">Department for Economy<\/a> in Northern Ireland are to invest in new technology solutions that improve the health of women with gestational diabetes.<\/p>\n<p>Funding of up to \u00a360,000 per project is available for the development of technologies that can:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>enable diabetic pregnant women to take better control of their health<\/li>\n<li>increase the effectiveness of interventions<\/li>\n<li>reduce pressure on health care services, (maternity, neonatal and endocrinology services)<\/li>\n<li>support an ongoing care programme<\/li>\n<li>improve the lives, well-being and outcomes for maternal and infant health<\/li>\n<li>enable women to lead as normal a life as possible<\/li>\n<li>reduce the need for travel to specialist clinics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/collections\/sbri-the-small-business-research-initiative\">Small Business Research Initiative<\/a> (SBRI) competition.
